Anglo-American duo John Riley and Gabriel Raeburn come together in Special Relationship to tackle complex topics in British and American politics. Both expository and analytical, the podcast covers subjects such as current elections, political institutions, and socio-economic constructs, like “The Middle Class”.

The identity consists of an iconographic and a typographic component. Stylized U.S. and U.K. flags come together in a loop to form the icon. Type is rearranged around or within the icon to give the lockup endless versatility and adapt to a variety of media, including podcast covers, branded merchandise, websites, and social media. Type is set in GT Ultra.
