Building a new gateway to Morningstar products
All types of investors rely on Morningstar products to make informed investment decisions. As its product bench grows, the investment research firm needed to reimagine its product catalog to allow multiple pathways into exploring those offerings. With this new catalog, products fall under three distinct solutions. Individual products are presented in a clear and concise manner, and are framed around what they can help investors do.
The products are organized into tiles that allow for a high degree of flexibility. Featured products occupy double-width tiles to highlight their importance. Longer product names flow onto second lines, but hang lines remain consistent across tiles for faster scanning. Different call-to-actions address the needs of a product’s specific customer journey.
Product tile filtering is powered by Isotope. All user interface componentry is reimagined through a marketing design lens but remains analogous to the Morningstar Design System.
